KVM developer trebles UK manufacturing
base
Europe's leading developer of KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) switching and extension technology for computer systems has trebled its manufacturing space in Cambridge, UK.

Adder's technology allows users to control and remotely access multiple computers from a single keyboard, monitor and mouse, locally, remotely or from anywhere in the world.
The company aims to treble production at its extended, state of the art facility, situated in Bar Hill on the outskirts of Cambridge.
Over 60% of Adder's production is exported.
The expansion is driven by increased sales in Europe and the USA for Adder's existing range as well as demand for its high end TS4 switch, AdderLink AV multimedia extenders and CATx mid-market switch, launched in December 2005.

"Our investment is a vote of confidence in UK electronics manufacturing and we look forward to this expansion driving further growth for the company." By extending its existing 6,500ft2 facility, Adder has doubled floor space and by freeing up further warehousing space manufacturing capacity will treble.
As part of the expansion Adder has invested heavily in new in-house test equipment to deliver faster product testing and further increase throughput.
