AEG Electric Motors has appointed Fyfe Wilson and Co of Bishop's Stortford as 'Specialist distributor - Brake Motors' with a special remit to focus on the woodworking and machine tool industries.
AEG Electric Motors has appointed Fyfe Wilson and Co of Bishop's Stortford as 'Specialist distributor - Brake Motors' with a special remit to focus on the woodworking and machine tool industries Fyfe Wilson will handle all AEG's brake and standard motors but particular emphasis will be placed upon the AMS/AMMES brake motors with DC coil low-torque braking that complies with the woodworking industry's PUWER 98 and ACoP safety standards

"We will be stocking AEG's single and 3-phase brake motors fitted with DC coil low-torque braking in the most popular power and size ranges", says Tony Harman, Sales Engineer, Fyfe Wilson.
"This means we will be able to supply customers ex-stock with 3-phase units in powers of 1.1 to 7.5kW in 80 to 132 frame sizes and single phase ones from 1.5 to 2.2kW in 90 frame size." AEG's full range of brake motors with DC coil gradual braking is available as both single and 3-phase machines.
Frame sizes are from 63-315 and power ratings from 0.11-200kW.
