Low voltage motors superseded
AEG Electric Motors has been superseded by Lafert Electric Motors - the Lafert Group had originally purchased AEG low voltage motor division in 1999.
AEG Electric Motors has been renamed Lafert Electric Motors, with immediate effect There is no change in the products and services offered
"Lafert Group is an established International brand with a solid reputation for quality and innovation', said Nigel Evenett, managing director.
"Now, after six years of trading in the UK and our products established and proven, we believe the time is right to trade under our own name." He also added that this move brought the UK operation into line with other members of the Group across Europe, North America, Australia and Asia, all of whom carry the Lafert name.
