Rapid prototyping service expands
Accelerated Technologies, a provider of rapid prototyping, tooling and electronic manufacturing services, has announced the acquisition of a new and larger facility in Austin, Texas.

The facility is located at 1611 Headway Circle.
Accelerated Technologies has also purchased new equipment for the facility, furthering its ability to offer its customers the latest RP technologies.
This includes the new Viper si2 stereolithography system, with increased capability to produce small, intricate parts and the Vanguard si2 selective laser sintering system, which can build LaserFormT prototypes at up to four times the rate of previous comparable systems.
In addition to stereolithography and selective laser sintering, Accelerated Technologies utilizes PolyJetT and RTV Molding technologies to produce thousands of prototypes each year.
"We're pleased to be experiencing significant growth," says Mike Durham, General Manager of Accelerated Technologies' Rapid Prototyping Division.
Accelerated Technologies also offers tooling, electronic manufacturing services, wire harness and printed circuit board production, and injection molding services.
The Austin location will continue to focus on rapid prototyping.
Accelerated Technologies, which is part of the Ellison Group, also has locations in Erlanger, Kentucky; Williamsburg, Kentucky; and Jackson, Mississippi.
