Arc Energy Resources has announced the completion of a Fabrication Unit to service its customers in the water, wastewater, instrumentation, sub-sea, oil and gas industries.

Arc Energy Resources has announced the completion of a10,000 sq Fabrication Unit at its Gloucestershire factory The unit, which is divided into four self contained and fully enclosed areas to avoid the possibility of cross contamination, includes two dedicated stainless steel workshops, a carbon steel workshop and an area for maintenance, R and D and goods inwards

The Fabrication Unit is served by three overhead cranes ranging from 2- to 5-tonnes capacity, and a central liquid argon distribution system with on-site gas mixing capability.

Other facilities include bead blasting, pressing, CNC, plasma cutting, rolling and NDT.

Arc Energy Resources, which also provides highly specialised weld overlay cladding services from a second 10,000 sq ft unit, services customers in the water and wastewater, instrumentation, sub-sea and oil and gas industries.

The company's teams of welders and fabricators are trained to the highest standards and qualified to specifications that include ASME, BS EN 287 and NES 706.

A wide range of base metal/cladding combinations has been qualified to ASME, API 6A and NACE.

The manufacturing infrastructure is also qualified to BS ISO 9001:2000.
