A comprehensive range of attenuation vents and EMC screened viewing panels are used on shielded enclosures where there is a need for either convectional or forced-air cooling.

Full protection with EMC vents and windows Aerco now supplies a comprehensive range of attenuation vents and EMC screened viewing panels that are used on shielded enclosures where there is a need for either convectional or forced-air cooling.

The vents feature honeycomb panels ranging from lightweight aluminium for most commercial and rack applications through to galvanised or tin-plated, heavy duty steel cellular structures for high security or military applications.

EMP rated vents are also available.

Versions with protective 'kickplates' to prevent accidental damage are supplied as are vents with a slanted honeycomb design to prevent water ingress and provide directional airflow and increased attenuation performance.

All vents can be supplied with EMC gaskets in a 'ready to fit' format or with a dust filter incorporated into the frame.

Fully laminated screened windows combine the physical strength and optical clarity of laminated glass or plastics with the shielding effectiveness of fine wire gauze.

They are used on enclosure doors, viewing panels and display types ranging from cathode ray tubes, LCDs, vacuum fluorescent displays and LEDs.

Whether glass or plastic, both base substrates can be etched or treated to provide excellent anti-reflective and scratch resistant properties.

An anti-reflective blackened finish, which is non-oxidising, is also available.

This protects the gauze, even where copper is used for its excellent shielding properties.
