Aerco has introduced the Contrinex Series 300, a range of tiny, flush mountable inductive sensors available with housing diameters of 3mm and M4, with body length of only 22mm.

The Contrinex Series 300, a range of tiny, flush mountable inductive sensors available with housing diameters of 3mm and M4, with body length of only 22mm is available from Aerco Despite its small size the Series 300 has a sensing distance of 1mm and a switching frequency of 3,000Hz

This makes it ideal for applications where the detection of extremely small components is important such as the verification of small part presence in automatic assembly machines or on robotic pick and place systems.

Because they are so small they can be embedded within the gripper fingers to detect components on contact.

This range of high performance sensors is supplied with short circuit, inverse polarity and overload protection, an LED indicator, is capable of switching 100mA and can be connected to a 10 to 30VDC supply.
