Inductive sensors have long sensing
distance
Aerco's inductive sensors from Contrinex that have a sensing distance up to four times that of conventional sensors of this type.
Inductive sensors from Contrinex that have a sensing distance up to four times that of conventional sensors of this type are now available in the UK from Aerco Using patented technology to push back the barriers of sensing performance, the Contrinex inductive range now provides M12 sensors with a sensing distance of 8mm, a distance that is stable over the complete operating temperature range

Small size flush mountable inductive sensors
Aerco has introduced the Contrinex Series 300, a range of tiny, flush mountable inductive sensors available with housing diameters of 3mm and M4, with body length of only 22mm.
This extra distance provides greater clearance between the sensors and moving parts of the process thus dramatically reducing accidental collision damage that is the primary cause of breakdown and system failure.
Contrinex inductive sensors are also supplied with all stainless steel housings including the sensor face whereas most conventional sensors have front faces made of plastic and are just not tough enough for many environments, even when covered with a protective cap.
With the all stainless steel Contrinex range the sensor face is impervious to shock, vibration, weld splatter and corrosion from liquids and gases.
The combination of long sensing distance and robustness provides an increase in profitability due to a dramatic decrease in system down-time and operating costs.
