Specific topics to be covered will include the following.
* Reducing time spent on job setups (to just 1 minute for certain applications) using System 3R's integrated workholding and software solutions.
* Improving part accuracy, surface finishes and removal rates (by up to 500%) in spark erosion applications by using graphite electrodes instead of copper electrodes.
* Achieving higher removal rates and improved accuracy in WEDM applications through using high-performance coated wires instead of brass wire.
Said Martin Spencer, general manager - Customer Services at AgieCharmilles: "I am confident that our Technology Demonstration Days will be real 'eye-openers' for many EDM professionals".
