Wire EDM adds competitive gain
With EDM wire cutting, especially with the Agie cut Evolution and Agie tron Innovation machines, Christian Dunkel ocquired a decisive competitive advantage in jig and fixture manufacture.
In just under eight months, AgieCharmilles said UK sales of the machine exceeded expectations making it the fastest-selling wire machine in its class.
Managing director at GF AgieCharmilles UK, Steve Sylvester, said: "The positive response to the Cut 20 from the market (precision toolmakers and component manufacturers) made the decision to showcase the machine on our Stand at MACH - a relatively straightforward one to make".
He continued: "This latest accolade (the MWP Award) is particularly pleasing.
We know that our Cut 20 is a world-beater and the fact that this has now been recognised by the independent 'MWP Awards' panel of judges justifies, still further, our confidence in the machine".
Sylvester, added: "Although the MACH show is now over precision manufacturers can see the new Cut 20 being put through its paces at our demonstration facility in Coventry by arranging an appointment".
