Aquapruf roller conveyors improve sanitation

An Automation Supplies product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Oct 23, 2008

Dorner has extended its Aquapruf range with solid acetal and stainless steel hollow roller conveyors that improve sanitation for accumulation or buffer situations.

These conveyors are suitable for food processing, food handling and pharmaceutical applications.

The solid acetal roller is designed to USDA red meat and poultry standards and excels in the harshest wash down applications: rollers simply lift out for refitting and cleaning and guide rails are removed without tools for fast and effective sanitation.

The main frame of the conveyor is manufactured from continuous TIG-welded 304 stainless steel.

No surfaces are horizontal, which allows maximum cleaning fluid drainage.

The frame features welded standoffs for supports so they don't interfere with the food zone.

The stainless steel hollow roller is designed for packaging and general processing applications.

These conveyors also have a continuous TIG welded 304 stainless steel outer frame with surfaces that have a #4 finish.

Internal frame members have a 2B finish.

Roller surfaces have a 2B stainless steel tube finish.

The roller ends are spring loaded with a 7/16in hexagonal shaft.
