Measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) reports particularly good sales volumes of the Acu-Rite MillPwr CNC system during the first five months of the year.

In addition, sales of Anilam and Acu-Rite DROs are also above forecast.

According to managing director Phil Goulding, MillPwr CNC sales are 25% ahead of budget: "Which is no surprise since the user-friendly system is proven to speed knee milling set-ups and minimise scrap while producing consistently accurate and repeatable workpieces," he says.

MillPwr allows machines to operate in either manual or CNC mode, even to switch between modes in the same program, and operators with little or no experience can handle even the most complex machining tasks such as 3D contouring.

Phil Goulding also reports that sales of ACI's range of one-/six-axis Acu-Rite DROs are showing an 11% increase during the first part of the year, and that volumes of the Anilam one-/four-axis DROs are also on target.
