Measurement and control firm ups sales
43%
Sales of Acu-Rite and Anilam CNC products achieved a rise of 43% during 2006 and ACI (UK) reports a quarterly average growth of some 6%.
Measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) reports an excellent year during 2006 for Acu-Rite and Anilam CNC sales - a volume increase of 43% above 2005 (24 per cent ahead of budget) and after including DRO activity, total product volume sales were 22% higher than in 2005 (10% ahead of budget) following quarterly growth of 6% on average Managing director Phil Goulding said the reasons for this continued success is due to a combination of factors, including: "Increased market confidence combined with our focused distribution channels and the continual development of cost-competitive quality products." He continued: "In addition, there is no doubt that an increasing number of users are buying new rather than repairing very old equipment, but CNC upgrades and retrofits - of suitable machines - still account for around 25 per cent of our CNC sales." Goulding concluded: "In short, it is clear that ACI (UK) is meeting all machine shop control/DRO system needs from its comprehensive product ranges of Acu-Rite, Anilam and Metronics Quadra-Chek DRO and CNC systems."
