A successful first quarter of the year compared to Q1 2006, has been reported for Acu-Rite, Anilam and Metronics CNC and DRO systems, as well as the accompanying precision glass linear encoder range.

Measurement and control specialist ACI (UK) reports a highly successful level of business in the first quarter of the year compared to Q1 2006, with an overall 23 per cent rise in revenues achieved via both its service activities and product sales across the Acu-Rite, Anilam and Metronics CNC and DRO systems, as well as the accompanying precision glass linear encoder range Particular gains were seen in sales of encoders, says managing director Phil Goulding, which rose 45 per cent compared to Q1 2006, though "measurable improvements" were also seen in all product areas
