Managing information and documents
Visitors to this year's AIIM Roadshow 'Managing Information and Documents' will see their own company's business documents used for demonstrations from the 25-plus exhibitors.
Be armed for the next information invasion
In light of recent high profile business scandals and failures, new legislation requires companies to maximise their information management for the twenty-first century - this handbook shows how.
Whilst 19% of respondents indicated that their organisation has an anticipated total spend in the next 12 months of over GBP200,000, the anticipated spend of 8% of respondents is in excess of GBP1m.
A further 41% have budgets between GBP10,000 and GBP200,000.
These figures match last year's survey results to within one or two percent.
AIIM President John Mancini, who presented the keynote at the AIIM Roadshow, comments, "These numbers demonstrate that falling per-seat prices are allowing organisations to increase coverage of their ECM systems rather than reduce project budgets".
"It reflects the trend for ECM to become part of the IT infrastructure across the whole enterprise".
Document management, records management and forms capture remain the products of most interest to attendees, followed by email management and workflow.
The associated technologies of collaboration, Web content management, invoice processing, digital mailroom and enterprise search were all on the shopping list of at least one in five visitors to the show, which attracted over 1,100 visitors across the five days.
The 2008 AIIM Roadshow will visit: Glasgow: April 28th, Bolton: April 29th, Coventry: May 1st, Bristol: May 2nd and London: May 3rd.
