Ductless fume hood protects operators
Air Science USA has introduced its ductless fume hood with advanced activated carbon filtration techniques, which protects operators from harmful powders and chemical vapours.
Air Science USA has introduced its range of Purair Ductless Fume Hoods, which are portable and self contained to protect operators Air Science said that the hoods exceed OSHA, ANSI and all relevant international standards
The hoods provide 360 deg of visibility use HEPA filters and advanced activated carbon filtration techniques to protect operators against harmful powders and chemical vapours.
There are six types of hood in the Purair range having a face velocity of 100ft/min and airflow from 145ft3/min up to 440ft3/min.
These units are available in widths from 29.5in up to 69in.
Depth of all units is 27.5in and height is 47.5in.
Options offered include the following.
* Mobile carts.
* Base cabinets.
* Air velometers.
* Microprocessor controller to monitor airflow, containment and filter condition.
