ASG now offers a complete packaged solution for business service monitoring including professional services and implementation.
ASG's Business Service Platform (BSP) provides everything necessary for real-time business service monitoring inclusive of auto-discovery for IT assets (hardware and software), network systems monitoring, asset management, unified device management, real-time business service status dashboards, IT process automation, and business rules.
This will allow business and IT executives to better understand and prioritise service issues before they impact business operations.
This integrated BSP approach is made possible by utilising ASG's Unified Management Architecture Technology (UMAT).
UMAT enables the creation of user-defined business rules that automatically define and maintain service models as the infrastructure changes thereby saving time and resources for costly never-ending system maintenance.
BSP can evolve and unify all infrastructure management applications (from both ASG and third party suppliers) via UMAT.
BSP coexists with existing infrastructure management tools and avoids the "rip and replace" scenario.
"We now see United Management Architecture Technology shaping ASG solutions that deliver business value," said ASG President and CEO Arthur Allen.
"The technologies we have developed made this solution practicable but even more important are the seamless extensions that are now possible and growth in business oriented solutions that UMAT promises for our customers over time".
"We see ASG's Business Service Platform, quite literally, as the foundation upon which we will continue to build value for our customer," said Keith Richardson, VP of Development.
"We are uniquely positioned to bridge the mainframe and distributed environments to provide complete infrastructure management".
