Latest version of a highly successful manual combination scale has been designed for fixed weight, fixed price, fixed or variable count retail packs of steaks, chops, fillets, legs, ribs and so on.

Aja have launched the latest version of their highly successful 'Selector' Manual Combination Scale for fixed weight, fixed price, fixed or variable count retail packs of steaks, chops, fillets, legs, ribs, etc.

Idea for medium to low volume product runs while being able to handle virtually any type of product and product combination whether large, small, sticky or delicate.

The new Mk4 'Selector Scale' has an impressive pedigree with the first 'Selector' having being first introduced in the UK by Aja over 15 years ago.

The Mk4 is now with available with a new integral wheeled stand making it fully portable and totally flexible for use as part of a production line or off line for those small specialist runs of high value or difficult fixed weight lines.

Aja claim the new 'Selector Scale' can operate at speeds of 12-15 packs per minute with two operators and unlike hand scales, accuracy is not compromised by pack rate.

The Selector Scale can literally pack as fast the operators can work.

'Give Away' is typically no more than 2 or 3g per pack regardless of weight.

Operation is simplicity itself.

A target weight and upper acceptable limit, plus quantity if required is entered via the touch keypad.

One operator then starts to load each pan with one piece at a time.

As soon as a combination of pieces within the target weight and upper limit is found, bright red LEDs illuminate against the relevant pan.

The other operator then removes these pieces and places them in a tray or bag.

Before this task is completed other combinations have been found as the first operator continues to load the pans.

The process continues with one operator following the other as fast as they can work.
