Advanced Labelling Systems is continuing to create innovative new labelling machinery to meet the increasing demands of today's manufacturer, retailer and consumer

Advanced Labelling Systems (ALS) offer extensive international labelling solutions ranging from simple table top applicators to heavy industrial in-line labelling equipment from both their English and Irish offices Together with supplying high quality labelling machinery a contract labelling service is available and a label consumable facility offers competitively priced labels through to thermal transfer ribbons

ALS always tries to create innovative new labelling machinery to meet the ever increasing demands of today's manufacturer, retailer and consumer.

SST security tagging systems, the T-Series tube labellers and Tray-Fix are all recent examples where labelling needs have been carefully thought about by forward thinking design engineers, using modern CAD technology, helping to eliminate and ease some of the problems faced by retailers and manufacturers.

Semi-automatic security labelling tagging equipment is becoming increasingly necessary for high value small size goods.

Installed in every HMV store across the UK and Ireland, and in Sydney, Australia with a program under way to expand steadily across the country the ALS SST tagging labellers are helping beat theft.

The success of the ALS machines is in their ease of use, robust handling and ability to label all media from cassettes, CD's, videos and DVD's in one unit, allowing the product to be displayed complete with the box content.

Having noted and seen the benefits, other major retailers are now following in HMV's footsteps.

As well as helping the retailer beat shoplifters, ALS also have some answers for manufacturers who need to keep down cost, yet keep up with labelling design demands created by today's challenging market.

ALS labellers can offer the solution, providing enhanced quality presentation with reduced production costs.

Direct printing onto bottles, jars and other presentation products can have design and product information limitations together with quality issues, so by using labels or indeed booklet labels, increased information can be given, perhaps dosage directions, in many different languages.

Brand images can also be updated cost effectively and quickly using the latest packaging trends such as clear on clear, plus, the label can also be used as a tamper evident mechanism.

The ability of the T-Series tube labellers to label one, two or three labels in registration means that a generic tube can be used for many different products.

Cosmetics and paints reveal an ideal situation, these products are packed using the same size and shape tube but with many variations on colour.

By using a generic tube and different colour spot labels and corresponding barcode, costs and wastage are reduced, together with raw material stock holding of tubes.

Pharmaceutical brands with different variations such as creams for dry or oily skin also make use of this process.

Tube labelling is already being used with enormous effect throughout the world, including a leading US cosmetics manufacturer and a major packing contractor in Thailand, in conjunction with inspection and rejection systems also supplied by ALS.

The launch of Tray-Fix is yet another example whereby ALS has thought about issues affecting retailers.

Tray-Fix labelling helps eliminate illegal in-store swapping by customers of the traditional cardboard sleeves associated with food trays and stop the sleeves falling off in transit which can end up with manufacturers facing steep fines from high street retailers.

Advanced Labelling Systems are clearly demonstrating commitment to their customers by heavily investing in future developments that can only be beneficial in the long term for all parties involved. Request free introductory details about products from Advanced Labelling Systems (ALS) ...
