The new purpose build factory for Alcopack's new BOPS facility in Belarus is nearing completion and the plant from Brueckner is on schedule for installation in the next few months.

The new purpose build factory for Alcopack's new BOPS facility in Belarus is nearing completion and the plant from Brueckner is on schedule for installation in the next few months Alcopack's new plant represents a landmark in both the Russian packaging market and the European market place, believes the company, which said that the factory will be the largest and most advanced of its kind in Europe

The facility has been designed to lead the field in terms production quality and flexibility and will be capable of producing 20,000 tons of rigid and flexible polystyrene based film annually, claimed the company.

The target markets are rigid film for thermoforming food and non-food containers, film for label applications and flexible food wraps The new plant is at Gomel, which the company said is an ideal position to service expanding domestic markets and European customers.
