Carrefour picks Aldata for worldwide
system
Carrefour, the world's second largest retailer, has chosen Aldata, leading providers of software solutions for the retail industry, to deploy its Aldata Gold.
Carrefour, the world's second largest retailer, has chosen Aldata, leading providers of software solutions for the retail industry, to deploy its Aldata Gold software internationally, following successful roll outs in Asia Pacific, South America and five European countries, as part of the global agreement signed with Aldata in 2003 The pilot systems consist of Gold Central for head office functions and Gold Shop for store functions

The overall objective of the project is the transition of Carrefour's existing systems to Aldata Gold In total, the project consists of 15 central head-office systems and over 900 stores.
The pilot countries (Thailand, Brazil and Poland) are now in production and the country deployments will progress through 2007 in Asia (Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea, China, Singapore and Malaysia), Latin America (Argentina and Colombia) and Europe (Greece, Turkey, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic).
