Tufcut metal cutting compound provides an extreme -pressure resistant, tenacious film between the tool cutting edge and the workpiece to ensure an excellent surface finish and extended tool life.

Ambersil, manufacturers of industrial consumables, has launched Tufcut, a metal cutting compound to add to their existing range of metal working lubricants Tufcut, metal cutting compound, is a ready to use compound that provides an extreme-pressure resistant, tenacious film between the tool cutting edge and the workpiece to ensure an excellent surface finish and an extended tool life

It has been designed specifically for turning, drilling, reaming, tapping and thread cutting of tough metals such as stainless steel, high-tensile steels and nimonics.

Tufcut, metal cutting compound, will also dissipate heat and therefore allows heavier close tolerance cuts, reducing rejects and increasing production.

Ambersil have said 'Our Tufcut metal cutting compound under went extensive trials in the field and we have now produced a compound that gives outstanding performance when turning, drilling, reaming, tapping and thread cutting many different types of metals'.

Tufcut, metal cutting compound, is available in a 500g tin and 5kg tin and forms an addition to Ambersil's existing range of Tufcut Liquid 300g bottle and Tufcut in a 400ml aerosol.
