Software used to calibrate pressure sensors
Latest documenting calibration software for automatic calibration of sensors using a PC is capable of performing pressure calibration as well as temperature calibration.
Temperature measurement guides are on-line
A single page temperature sensor guide published on-line is designed to direct a user towards the right choice of a temperature sensor and is supported by a 'white paper'.
A fast response time ensures precise monitoring of temperature stability and low drift reduces uncertainty of measurement between calibration intervals.
Supplied with a Jofra STS-050 'smart' temperature reference sensor, the unit becomes a fully traceable thermometer with excellent accuracy of measurement.
It can be used as the reference for accurate verification of temperature for both dry block and liquid bath temperature calibrators or for direct measurement of critical temperatures in a process environment.

Temperature calibrator with reference sensor
A dry block temperature calibrator with reference sensor is used extensively in the food and beverage industry and is available from Ametek.
The STS-050 probe is available in two diameters, (4 mm and 6.35 mm) and a variety of immersion lengths.
A 90 degree angled probe option is also available.
Temperature accuracy in combination with the DTI050 is + 0.040 degree C in the -50 to 250 degree C temperature range, and + 0.065 degree C in the -50 to 400 degree C range.
The sensors are supplied with an accredited or traceable certificate from a National Accredited Laboratory stating sensor coefficients.
The STS-050 is a 'smart' sensor, equipped with a memory chip for the storage of calibration data, coefficients, serial number etc The DTI050 features intelligent detection technology, allowing it to automatically read the data from the chip.
This means that sensors can be exchanged without having to reprogram the unit.
This is particularly useful for process application, where the low cost of the STS-050 means that sensors can be left permanently in position in the process and the data for each individual sensor recalled when the unit is connected to it.
The DTI050 can also be used with a range of other probes such as 4- wire RTDs, TCs and thermistors.
Standard probes can be converted into smart probes through the use of a smart connector.
The DTI050 is fully equipped with configuration software that allows the data for all new sensors to be set up and edited.
This includes CVD or ITS90 coefficients for RTDs, Steinhart Hart coefficients for thermistors and a second order deviation function for TC-sensors.
The DTI050 is also equipped with an RS232 interface and is supplied with JofraCAL software calibration software for operation on a PC.
In addition to supporting automatic calibration of all Jofra calibrators, JofraCAL can also be used for post measurement processing and the printing of certificates.
