ANCA has further expanded its global presence by opening an engineering and technical support office located in Nagoya, Japan - in response to growth experienced in the last 12 months.

Following the opening of a new office in Shanghai, China and the relocation of the US operations (ANCA) into a much larger facility during 2005, ANCA has further expanded its global presence by opening an engineering and technical support office located in Nagoya, Japan This expansion is in response to the huge growth ANCA has experienced in the last 12 months, and following an eight-year sales presence in Japan through our respected agent CKB Corporation

During the past 12 months, ANCA has sold high precision grinding machines valued at more than US$7 million to customers located in Japan, and Japan is now ANCA's third highest market behind the USA and China.

* Long and stable established presence - the new ANCA Japan offices are located in a quiet suburb of Nagoya, not far from the sales office of our agent, and in close proximity to a number of strategically important customers.

"A number of our best people who have worked and trained extensively in Australia are now located in this office, including our office manager and technical applications expert Tomoaki Fukuda and our service/application manager Tatsuya Nakazono," said Linsey Siede, ANCA Group general manager.

The ANCA Japan office is well located to assist our long time sales agent, CKB Corporation, with the technical aspects of our machines and be available to assist customers on projects for the development of new tools and enhanced technical applications.

The new branch office boasts a demonstration centre which houses a top-of-the-line TX7 machine, as well as application and service engineers and work stations for visiting customers.

"Opening an office in Nagoya demonstrates our strong commitment to the Japanese market and positions ANCA within easy reach of our target customer base," said Siede.

"It allows ANCA to develop and maintain closer relationships with our customers and the necessary government departments.

Ultimately this will provide our customers with much more value added, because we can not only meet their requirements faster, but we have dedicated people located close to our customer premises who can totally focus on their specific requirements." With the production and sale of ANCA machines growing at 30% year-on-year for the past two years, this office in Japan is another critical part of the ANCA strategic growth plan, which will see a number of additional offices opened over the coming months.

The ANCA offices are located in targeted countries with growth markets, and are staffed to service and support our rapidly increasing customer base.

* About ANCA - ANCA is an Australian owned company that was founded in 1974 to design and manufacture high technology Computer Numerical Controls (CNCs) for the machine tool and metal-based industries.

Today, ANCA has become a world leading designer and manufacturer of complete, high precision grinding machines competing in a global niche market.

With its core values of precision, innovation, quality and technological excellence, ANCA is today an international organisation of more than 300 employees in 12 countries, with a robust set of technological and entrepreneurial skills.

Offices are located in major cities in Europe, North America and Asia; with dealerships represented in over 25 countries.
