Answer Enterprise Release 9.1 Now Available
The new release of Answer Enterprise has now been made available to all customers.
* Transact - The Point of Sale process.
* Transact Manager - The Back Office processes.
* Transact Bar Code Manager - The bar code printing facility.
* Transact Invoice Manager - Manage Account Payments, produce statements and so on.
* Transact Branch Reports - The Branch/Till Reports Libraries.
* Transact General Reports - The General Back Office Reports Libraries.
This overall release is labelled Answer Retail 9.1.
Accompanied within this release is also a series of documentation offerings for the Transact Family of applications.
These comprise how to documents, guides, FAQ's and more and must be any customer's first port of call when attempting to resolve any apparent issue.
As soon as additional documentation is developed it will be made available via the support web site.
This Release contains a number of significant enhancements as well as fixes and performance improvements for many user related issues and problems.

* Sales Order processing enhancements.
* Branch Transfer changes.
* Customer/Contact Data Capture improvements.
* Z Read configurable options enhancements.

* Product Lookup enhancements.
* Day Account processing changes.
* Purchase Order Cycle enhancements.
It is currently planned that the next formal release of the Transact Family of applications will be late December 2005.
During 2006 it is currently planned there will be 3 formal releases tentatively scheduled for end of April, end of August and end of December.
