Precision turning specialist APT Leicester has underlined its continuing expansion by confirming orders at last week's MACH show for two Star SR-10J high productivity CNC lathes.
After a four-year apprenticeship with Glacier Metals in Alperton (Wembley) West London, he joined William Watts at Watford.
Following his appointment as applications engineering manager for Traub in Brackley, he held the position of sales manager at Star Micronics for two years before joining APT Leicester.
"With a customer base which demands the best in terms of quality and reliability, Barry's extensive engineering background makes him well qualified to help us take the company forward," said APT's managing director David Bailey.
"This appointment reflects our commitment to providing customers with one of the most comprehensive and cost-effective precision turning services in the UK." Born and educated in Harrow, Debenham is married with four children and lives in Deddington, Oxon.
He enjoys watching rugby in his spare time.
