The WENS 800 series of hand-held digital oscilloscope meters is available in the UK exclusively from Aspen Electronics, with a bandwidth of 20MHz, 40MHz or 60MHz.

The WENS 800 series of hand-held digital oscilloscope meters (DOM), manufactured in South Korea by WENS Precision, is available in the UK exclusively from Aspen Electronics With a bandwidth of 20MHz, 40MHz or 60MHz, the 2-channel DOM delivers a maximum 200MSamples/s sample rate, with an impressive 2.5GSamples/s repetitive sampling feature and a long 125kbyte record length

A number of high performance features, exceptional ease of use, rugged construction and added flexibility through a range of interface options, makes this series suitable for a broad range of specialist and general purpose engineering applications.

Furthermore, its portability makes it especially practical for field use.

It is expected to prove useful for troubleshooting in circuit design and debug, manufacturing test, installation and quality inspection tasks in the automotive, power systems, machinery, control, aerospace and industrial sectors.

The 'scopes feature 8bit vertical resolution and offer various acquisition modes including: sample, average, peak detect and envelope.

Advanced trigger modes cover edge, pulse width, TV, pattern and delay.

There are 23 automatic measurement functions as well as arithmetic and FFT analysis facilities, and an auto-set feature for easy waveform capture.

A built in high precision, 6000count autoranging digital multimeter provides AC and DC Vrms, ohms, capacitance, diode and continuity measurements, with current, relative humidity, temperature and pressure available through external adaptors.

A USB port is provided for easy communication to a PC, firmware updates and self-calibration, and a USB flash memory port is optionally available for storing and transferring large amounts of data.

Powered by a 9V DC power adaptor or 7.2V rechargeable NiMH battery pack, additional features of the DOM include a 320 x 240 pixel backlit LCD, zoom function, and persistence mode for differentiating the display of multiple waveforms.
