Automotive tooling business acquired

The workforce and facilities at Gladenbach and Niederweidbach, Germany will continue, with the current management, led by Daniel Kerper with Stefan Kreck together with the existing team of managers, including Dirk Schulz, Finance.
All jobs and the excellent and experienced workforce at both sites will continue.
In all, German employee numbers will be around 200.
A new board will be set up to include Peter Rawson, Kazumi Araki and Abhilash Katkoria of ARRK.
Managing Director for ARRK in Europe, Peter Rawson explains, "This is an excellent acquisition by ARRK in the area of large automotive tooling and trialling capability and further advances our aim to be the best world wide partner for customers in this area of the business.
To be able to bring a strong and vastly experienced company like Zimmermann within ARRK adds yet more experience and tooling capability to our portfolio in Europe.
Combining these strong foundations, with the added financial and technical strength of the ARRK group it allows us to develop and maximise the opportunities available to other ARRK businesses operating worldwide in this area (Japan, Korea, Thailand, India, China, Canada, Mexico, France, Poland, UK and Germany).
