Netherlands-based manufacturer of SMD placement equipment, Assembleon, has formed a partnership with Sincotron Sverige AB to strengthen its sales and service presence in Sweden.

Netherlands-based manufacturer of advanced SMD placement equipment Assembleon has formed a partnership with Sincotron Sverige AB to strengthen its sales and service presence in Sweden.

Sincotron represents a number of world-class companies in Sweden and enjoys a sound reputation for the excellence of its aftersales services.

Through the new partnership, Assembleon users will benefit from enhanced on-the-ground services from one of Sweden's market-leading distributors in the electronics manufacturing sector.

At the same time, users are backed by technical and applications support from Assembleon's R and D laboratories and manufacturing base in Eindhoven.

This support will continue to be delivered via Assembleon's Nordic central office in Copenhagen.

Formed in 1969, and since 2001 part of Elektronikgruppen BK AB, Sincotron offers a wide range of equipment and services related to electronics production, including technical and process support, training and consultancy.

The company operates a Technology Centre which specialises in process training, and is also IPC's Official Certification Centre in Sweden.

Formerly Philips EMT (Electronic Manufacturing Technology), Assembleon remains a full subsidiary of the Philips Group.

Its new flagship A-Series pick-and-place platform has been acclaimed by electronics manufacturers worldwide for its flexibility, placement quality and cost per placement.
