Olympus NDT, renowned worldwide for the quality of their products, have received an order to supply a total of twenty six new Epoch 4 and Epoch LT hand-held detection sets, as well as the new Omniscan MX.
Combining the latest in digital flaw detection technology with a tough yet user-friendly modular design, the Omniscan MX is capable of a wide variety of ultrasonic flaw detection tasks.
Built with both off and onshore applications in mind, the Omniscan utilises Olympus NDT's advanced Time of Flight Diffraction, C-Scan and real-time processing software to detect flaws in welds and other structures.
The Omniscan MX also has an ultrasonic Phased Array module that increases the probability of detection of defects as well as increasing the speed of inspection and reporting when compared with conventional ultrasonic methods.
