Antivibration mounts for motors have low
profile
Thin profiles allow rubber antivibration dampers to be used with small standard shaft length, flange-mounted industrial motors, where noise and vibration need to be minimised.
A range of rubber antivibration dampers for small flange-mounted industrial motors, such as steppers and servos, has been introduced by motion control specialists Astrosyn International Technology The mounts are ideal for applications where motor noise and vibration need to be minimised, such as in security camera controls, sample movement systems in analytical instruments or in marking and engraving machines

Two- and four-phase hybrid stepper motors
Astrosyn International Technology has launched the P305, a high performance driver for two- and four-phase hybrid stepper motors.
Available in NEMA motor frame sizes 16, 17, 22 and 23, they can be easily retrofitted to existing motors.
Their thin profiles (6mm for the smaller sizes and 10mm for the larger ones) allow them to be used with standard shaft length motors.
Robust but lightweight, the dampers can be mounted directly onto the motor flange.
Threaded mounting holes are provided on the damper's metal mounting face.
The central access hole is large enough to accommodate a spigot and gear or pulley.
The hole diameter is 22mm on the smaller sizes and 40mm on the larger models.
