Astrosyn International Technology has launched the P305, a high performance driver for two- and four-phase hybrid stepper motors.
A high performance driver for two- and four-phase hybrid stepper motors has been introduced by motion control specialists Astrosyn International Technology.
New to the European market, the P305 is a compact unit that provides both power and driver functions from a simple AC supply.
With a high current rating of up to 8.75 A per phase, the full- and half-stepping unit is suitable for larger, higher powered applications such as for NEMA size 34 steppers in industrial machinery.
The bipolar PWM constant current driver measures only 200 x 72 x 130 mm and weighs 1600 g.
Input voltage is 60 - 100V ac.
Its advanced design minimises noise and vibration, and includes an offline, full / half current setting function at standstill.
