In addition, CAD views are more accurate and easy to comprehend than other image types.
This latest version of Inspect also includes new ways to view and manipulate images.
These include zoom capability for viewing images in Inspect Data Collect, a 'scroll image' feature that lets the user scroll left, right.
up and down on images that are larger than the displayed view.
It also has the ability to hide defect flags, which sometimes overlap or obscure defect indicators when collecting data.
* Digital camera image capture - another new feature provides for capture and storage of images created by digital cameras in the Inspect Data Collect module.
When a digital camera is connected to a Data Collect station, the operator can take photos of specific defects to be stored in Data Collect.
Selected images can be transferred to local memory and are then available to associate with specific defects or repairs.
Inspect software is designed to reduce the costs associated with scrap, rework, warranty claims and production bottlenecks.
Inspect is a valuable tool for collecting, analyzing and reporting defect-related data in applications where part and assembly defect information is critical to the production of quality parts.
