Symposium is to present the advances in bearing steel quality assurance and identify added value parameters influencing the manufacturing properties of bearings An ASTM International 7th International Symposium on Bearing Steels will be held May 17-19, 2005, at the Hilton Reno Resort, Reno, Nevada

Sponsored by ASTM Committee A01 on Steel, Stainless Steel, and Related Alloys and its Subcommittee A01.28 on Bearing Steels, the symposium is open to all interested individuals.

Membership in ASTM International is not required.

The international nature of this series makes it a unique forum for the presentation and discussion of various aspects of bearing steel technologies.

This seventh symposium will have the theme of state-of-the-art and advances in bearing steel quality assurance with 45 papers originating from 13 countries.

The goal of the symposium is to present the state of the art and advances in bearing steel quality assurance and identify added value parameters influencing the manufacturing properties and functional performance of bearings.

These issues are of particular relevance to bearing steel manufactures, rolling bearing steel purchasers and bearing users.

The fee to attend this symposium is waived for Session Chairmen, Presenters, ASTM members and students with a valid I.D.

The fee for non- members is $225.00 if paid online and $250.00 if paid on-site.
