Reinforced header bags are highly
presentable

Reinforced header bags are ideally suitable for customers who have a requirement to present their products in the most attractive and effective way at the point-of-sale in a retail environment.

Leading bag and bagging machinery manufacturer, Automated Packaging Systems (APS), can now supply reinforced header bags to supplement its already extensive range of Autobags The reinforced header bags are ideally suitable for customers who have a requirement to present their products in the most attractive and effective way at the point-of-sale in a retail environment

Used with the Autobag SPRINT bagging machine, arguably the fastest and most efficient bagging system of its kind, they allow poly bags to compete in presentation quality and style with both skin packs and blister packs.

Considerable savings are made compared to skin and blister packing, as material costs are lower and operation speeds higher, consequently less labour is required.

The environment benefits too as the bags are more easily recyclable than both poly bags used with stapled or glued header card and poly/ card skin packs.

APS product manager, Robin Hill, said: "With reinforced header bags, there is a choice of body material; polyethylene or polypropylene in either 50, 75 or 100 micron.

This is supplemented in the header area only with an extra strip of material from 100 to 200 microns.

The pack therefore keeps its shape and integrity when it's displayed on a hook.

At the same time it retains high clarity for prospective customers to view the product in window areas.

"The reinforced headers are available with Euroslot or round hanger holes depending on the individual customer's requirements." Used in conjunction with SPRINT, bags can be filled manually or via a range of automatic infeed systems - or a combination of both.

An Autobag Precision in-line thermal transfer printer can be added to the system to overprint variable information to the bags during the packaging process, in addition to the high quality pre-printed designs specifically produced by APS to reflect individual corporate styles.

Robin Hill concluded: "SPRINT is one of the most versatile bagging systems available, with a range of options to suit different needs. Request a free brochure from Automated Packaging Systems ...

The addition of reinforced header bags now provides another benefit to meet numerous and diverse customer requirements.".
