Automated Packaging Systems launches new
machine

Automated Packaging Systems is launching its new FAS Sprintand 61666; bagging solution at this year's TOTAL show, which sees the company entering the European food sector.

FAS SPrint has been specifically developed to handle the packing of fresh, chilled and frozen produce including meat, poultry and fish, bringing new levels of speed and flexibility to established and seasonal food packaging operations that require fast changeovers and daily wash-down "Whether the reason is reducing costs, increasing speeds, raising productivity or increasing flexibility, packaging machinery end users are looking for innovation, and our new system delivers this"

"FAS SPrint reduces labour costs and delivers significant increases in operator productivity, compared to manual or hand load operations," said Paul Hayden, marketing manager at the company's European headquarters.

"Building on our extensive experience in the USA and proven track record in the packaging industry, it was a logical move to expand into the European food arena".

"We are confident that FAS SPrint will be a great success, offering a competitive price/performance solution particularly in the IQF frozen and chilled food sectors," Paul Hayden added".

""The launch of FAS Sprint as an effective packaging solution, combined with our in house 8-colour printing facilities allows us to offer a superior 'retail-ready' bagging solution," he continued.

Other products also being showcased at TOTAL include the market-leading Autobagand 61666; bagging systems.

Setting the standard in print and pack operations, the bagging and sealing machines deliver increases in productivity, high speed, and fully automatic functionality, at speeds of up to 80 bags per minute, with bag size changes possible in less than two minutes.

The recently launched AB 255 OneStep and AB 180 OneStep range delivers a fully integrated bagging and labelling solution for mail order fulfilment and a wide range of packaging, shipping, dispatch and fulfilment applications, where the machines deliver zero bag wastage with their cost-efficient 'next-bag-out' printing capability.

Also on show is the award winning AirPouch void-fill system.

Fast and easy-to-use it produces protective air-filled cushions to meet end-of-line packing requirements.

With its compact size and small foot print, it is environmentally friendly, and provides a no-mess packing solution that results in much reduced shipping and disposal/recycling costs. Request a free brochure from Automated Packaging Systems ...
