Five million for production auto maker
The five millionth Audi A6 model - a new A6 Avant 2.7 TDI - left the production line yesterday at the company's manufacturing facility in Neckarsulm, Germany.
The five millionth Audi A6 model - a new A6 Avant 2.7 TDI - left the production line yesterday at the company's manufacturing facility in Neckarsulm, Germany The new Audi A6 Avant is available to order from British Audi Centres now, and deliveries of the first phase of models will begin in the UK in April
Prices for the five-engine, seven-version range start at £26,505 OTR and rise to £46,265 OTR.
Three petrol engines - 2.4 V6 (177PS), 3.2 V6 (256PS) and 4.2 V8 (335PS) - and two TDI diesels - the recently introduced 2.7 V6 TDI (177PS) and the 3.0 V6 TDI (225PS) - make up the range.
These can be combined with either SE or sporting S line specification, and in some versions with either front-wheel-drive or quattro permanent four-wheel-drive.
The option of adaptive four-wheel air suspension is also available for all models at an extra cost of £1,500.
