Card effects PCI Bus high speed analogue output
For industrial PCI Bus applications where high-speed, continuous analogue output or real-time waveform functions are required, an advanced analogue output card is effective.
DVP-7420 is a multi-format video encoder card.
This high-powered add-on card uses multiple algorithms to buffer and compress raw video data into video stream that are transcoded onboard into MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and formats.
The DVP-7420 is capable of streaming video up to 30/25fps at full-D1 resolution and at full-motion frame rate.
It is ideal for a wide range of encoding applications from any type of security and surveillance system.
Advantech also provides full SDK for application development and support for Microsoft Windows 2000/XP.
Real-time Graphics Transmission.
DVP-7420 supports 4 channels of MPEG-1/2/4 real-time video encoding up to full D1 DVD quality at 1Mbps and 30/25fps frame rate, also high quality 40Kbps QCIF video for low bandwidth communication.
Faster Video Encoding.
The DVP-7420 hardware MPEG 1/2/4 video encoder engine reduces the main CPU's workload and the programmer's coding time.
The dynamically adjustable bit and frame rate can accommodate variable bandwidths, thereby optimizing the quality for better results.
Through onboard 128 Byte EEPROM, the programmer can place the protection code or system parameters, using the SDK, which comes with sample source code for programming reference.
The SDK (Software Development Kit) package includes drivers for Windows 2000/XP as well as a full API to provide a comprehensive development environment DVP-7420 enables you to significantly improve the effectiveness and business performance of your security operations by offering fast, high-quality, hardware encoded MPEG 1/2/4 digital video capture and storage.
DVP-7420 integrates seamlessly with existing Advantech product lines for total digital video solutions designed to meet today's real-life security challenges.
Customers can focus on their innovative products while provide added-value services, and meet their target time-to-market.
The DVP-7420 will be available by the end of May. Request a free brochure from Advantech (UK) ...
