The SBC has an Intel Pentium 4 CPU with hyper threading.
There are two DIMM sockets for up to 2 GB of memory.
A combo CD-ROM drive and 3.5" HDD takes care of storage.
Networking and communication is available with a 10/100Base-T Ethernet controller, four serial ports and a parallel port.
And there are two USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, audio ports, PS/2 ports and one PCI 2.2 slot.
And somehow it all fits into a box that is only 354 x 226 x 115 mm, and therefore easily fits into various kiosk solutions.
ES-200-80 belongs to Advantech's series of Open Frame Panel Computers (OFPC).
These are designed to provide better flexibility, great performance and easier integration.
The OFPC product line includes touch panel LCD monitors and computer system boxes.
Because of their modular design, customers can choose the LCD Panel configuration that suits their application best, and also use numerous third-party components.
