Label QA inspection station automated
Label inspection systems perform 100% quality inspection on labels and replace unreliable manual inspection and operator judgement, which can be tedious and very labour intensive.
The company's Sealscan identifies the presence, type and location of seal defects, verifying the package integrity and analysing the overall seal quality.
Tony Stauffer, president of PTI said: "In choosing Alpha Vision Design as our UK and Irish distributor, we have ensured our customers will receive the highest quality, experience, service and support within the industry." For the first time, opto-acoustic imaging can be applied to in-line analysis of seals on flexible packaging.
The systems are replacing unreliable human inspection and ensure that all sealed packaging are 100 per cent inspected, guaranteeing distribution of high quality sealed products while reducing the unit cost of production due to reduced scrappage and labour costs said the company.
As an offline tool, Sealscan provides opto-acoustic images that can be used to reliably calibrate and optimise seal inspection machines.
Niall Dorr, business development manager of Alpha Vision Design, said: "For the first time, packagers can now quantify their sealing process and as a result, this technology is gaining broad acceptance in the medical device and related industries for validating their packaging processes." Alpha Vision Design will be showcasing Sealscan at Medtec Ireland 2005 to be held from September 28-29 in Galway, Ireland.
Sealscan is available now.
