Preventing 'Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome'
A service is provided for employers in compliance with new regulations requiring strict maximum levels of exposure to vibration in the workplace to help prevent Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome.
The Ionix Group is owned and managed by Steve Mottershead, former European business development manager for Shell Services and senior manager at DaimlerChrysler, and John Chappell, who's previous positions include senior manager at TRW (Automotive parts manufacturer) and European operations director for Shell Services.
Steve has a wealth of experience in new company and service development and sales and marketing, while John has a deep understanding of plant operations and fluid management, having held senior management positions in the industry for over 15 years.
AV Technology is renowned for its high calibre staff of consulting engineers, a reputation which Mottershead and Chappell aim to build on.
By applying their own skills, their aim is to double the size of the company within three years by extending the condition monitoring services into complimentary fluid management and other maintenance related services, as well as increasing the sales and marketing activities across the group.
Mottershead commented: "Shell Services had a number of successful years providing plant maintenance services using AV Technology, which was at the time a subsidiary of Shell UK. Request free introductory details about products from AV Technology ...
