Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe's upgraded Fasson LaserCopyJet Premium roll-to-sheet stocks now offer an enhanced portfolio of features.
Competition has become intense in the A4 sheet labels market for desktop printers as demand accelerates across a variety of imaging technologies and the market moves towards commodity status.
For roll-to-sheet converters and retailers who want to add value in terms of enhanced appearance, layflat, and fast ink drying, Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe's upgraded Fasson LaserCopyJet Premium roll-to-sheet stocks now offer an enhanced portfolio of features.
Thanks to innovative release liner technology, Fasson LaserCopyJet Premium products offer an improvement in layflat quality over a wide humidity range.
New Fasson Kraft Layflat linersmatch their hygro-expansivity to that of the facestocks to give the smooth feed characteristics today's high-speed printers require, as well as enhanced consistency in roll-to-sheet conversion.
The new liners also offer enhanced aesthetics: they are brighter and whiter, to add an extradimension of quality to converted label sheets.
The printing characteristics of Fasson LaserCopyJet Premium facestocks have also been adjusted to meet the changing needs of digital print.
Many leading printer manufacturers - including HP, Canon, Lexmark, and Epson - are moving towards pigmented inks because of their better durability, higher colour intensity, and improved water-fastness.
To accommodate this trend, Fasson LaserCopyJet Premium products now have a special surface-sizing that delivers instant ink drying with inkjet print, even with pigmented inks.
Toner anchorage with laser printers and copiers is also optimised, and the sizing also gives increased colour intensity and water-resistance, and a reduction in 'feathering'.
Replacing the current Fasson LaserCopyJet Premium constructions, the new qualities are available in various exact programs in a choice of 55 and 70gm2 Fasson Kraft Layflat liners (without imprint), and with the proven and versatile Fasson S2012HT low-odour permanent acrylic emulsion adhesive.
