Conduit system is a single piece fitting, installation times are considerably reduced and there is absolutely no possibility of losing component parts, said the manufacturer.
Adaptaflx has introduced a novel conduit fitting, 'Adaptalok ATS', which achieves the ultimate in conduit system performance and integrity.
'Adaptalok ATS' is the culmination of an extensive development programme and provides the highest possible performance in a single component.
The fittings are manufactured from Nylon and elastomer materials using a 'twin shot' moulding technique to provide both an internal conduit seal and a face seal washer as an integral part of the component.
* Installation times reduced - being a single piece fitting, installation times are considerably reduced and there is absolutely no possibility of losing component parts - the omission of which might compromise a conduit system's sealing and integrity.
As the conduit seal and face washer are an integral part of the fitting, IP ratings up to IP68 and IP69k can be achieved by a simple 'push and twist - pull' installation process which requires no tools.
* Full range - 'Adaptalok ATS' is available in a full range of sizes from 13mm to 54mm, including a new 48mm fitting option, in straight, 90 deg elbow and 45 deg elbow fittings, with nylon threads or swivel metal threads.
UNEF circular connectors, swivel flanges, couplers.
A brand new range of 'Fastlok' adaptors and manifold boxes are also available.
Because of its ease of use and speed of installation, 'Adaptalok ATS' is suitable for a wide range of applications.
It will be particularly cost effective in OEM applications in industries such as railway engineering, marine, machine tools etc.
Speaking on the introduction of the new product range, Martyn Turner, director of Business Development at Adaptaflex said: "Adapatalok ATS is set to have the same impact on the flexible conduit system market as when we launched our original Adaptalok 'clip in' system some 15 years ago.
It is a unique product, with a patented design, that offers real cost saving benefits to our customers, and ultimate performance.

He added: "We have evaluated and compared performance and installation times of all the main competitors, and have proven that with Adaptalok ATS we are offering a product with measurable advantages to installers and designers alike.

Following its worldwide launch at Hanover in April 2007, information on the 'Adaptalok ATS' range will be available worldwide through the company's distributors in over 40 countries.
