An AIS Container Handling product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Feb 21, 2008

An affordable inspection system monitors leakage and improves high speed plastics container production before the filling and sealing process.

AIS Container Handling has released its next generation of AIS Rotary Leak Detector.

AIS offers three decades of leadership in leak detection systems development, including trimmer mount, inline and high-speed rotary machines.

* Leak detection of plastics containers - before the filling and sealing process - is an important step to insure container integrity, said AIS to manufacturingtalk.com.

Modular in design, the AIS Rotary Leak Detector is available in configurations that range from 4 to 24 test stations and is capable of testing rates up to 600 bottles/min.

Innovative new features include a Windows-based graphical interface for touch screen input, Ethernet communication for networked and remote monitoring and built-in diagnostics for troubleshooting.

Highly engineered and affordably priced, the AIS Rotary Leak Detector is a complete leak detection system to effectively meet the increasing speed and inspection needs of today's plastic container industry.

"Our next generation of rotary leak detector expands on industry proven leak detection technology with efficiency driven adaptations to better monitor and improve high-speed plastic container production," said Jerry Pollard, president, AIS Container Handling.

He continued: "With the systems adaptable design our customers can maximize the potential of the machine to accurately and affordably assure plastic container integrity - now and in the future".
