InstaTool modules allow downstream I/O data to be updated on the DeviceNet network in less than a second following a tool change, preventing manufacturing delays.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office has awarded ATI patent 7,027,893 for the Robotic Tool Coupler Rapid-Connect Bus, also known as ATI InstaTool.
The InstaTool modules allow downstream I/O data to be updated on the DeviceNet network in less than a second following a tool change, preventing manufacturing delays.
