A partnership between KT Engineering and Walker Aerospace has used ATI Industrial Automation's QC-310 Heavy Automation Tool Changers.
ATI Industrial Automation's QC-310 Heavy Automation Tool Changers were selected for use in a partnership between KT Engineering and Walker Aerospace.
Together they have built a manufacturing facility in New Lisbon (WI) that will produce fuel tanks for NASA.
ATI's Tool Changers will be used on welding robots, allowing the welding guns to be changed automatically.
Significant cost savings are expected, as well as the creation of new jobs for the area.
