Single board computer supports ISA

Axiomtek, an associate member of the Intel Communications Alliance (ICA), a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers, is proud to launch a high performance single board computer (SBC), the SBC81200.

The reliable SBC81200 supports LGA775-pin Intel Pentium 4 and Intel Celeron D processors up to 3.8GHz, with a 533/800MHz front side bus (FSB), and features an Intel 865G + ICH5 chipset.

It complies with a wide range of industrial and network application environments.

The SBC81200 provides the best stability and avoids thermal issues when using Intel Prescott processors.

The SBC is engineered with 2 SATA channels as a hot-plug feature.

It supports two 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets for up to 2GB of dual segment DDR400 memory, and supports dual segments with non-ECC memory.

VGA function with Intel Extreme Graphic Technology is built into the Intel 865G chipset and the board has a maximum video memory of up to 64MB, which is shared by the system memory.

For a wide range of applications, the SBC81200 supports dual SATA, dual ATA-100 ports and CompactfFashTM for storage; video and audio AC-97 is great for multimedia environments.

This high speed platform also offers USB 2.0 and Intel 82547GI Giga Ethernet controllers to provide perfect storage and network connectivity.

Additionally, it is compatible with ISA DMA and non DMA mode cards by PCI-ISA bridge for extending ISA add-on cards.

Other features include Hardware Monitoring, Watchdog Timer, IrDA, and RS-232/422/485.

The SBC is rounded out with advantage options such as LVDS LCD, TV-out, Mini PCI and Disk On Chip upon user's request.

The SBC81200 will be available in the end of February, 2006.
