The DAS-315FA, a SATA disk drive storage enclosure with 2 Gbps and 2 channel host connectivity, is an ideal mix of low cost and high capacity storage for minimum I/O workloads such as reference data, archival and disk-to-disk backup in existing hardware environments.
One of the advantages of the DAS-315FA is the port bypass feature which allows users to link to a tape device in a loop mode without the extra cost of a switch port.
This offers customers more flexibility and cost-effectiveness while protecting existing hardware investments.
The 3U storage array can be attached to an individual server, or paired in a cluster configuration for data aggregation and centralized management.
