Other features of the SBC83800 include one DDR DIMM up to 1GB, onboard four COM ports for transaction terminal applications, LCD backlight via utility programming or software programmable and Board Unique ID.
More side features include two PATA-100 IDE, one FDD, one PS/2 K/B, one PS/2 MS, one LPT, one IrDA and four USB 2.0 ports via box-header for wiring solution.
The platform can be used in harsh environments, and has incredibly high performance when compared to traditional Pentium 4 platforms.
