A Cost-effective Mainstream Mini-ITX solution with good GUI for Digital Security Surveillance (DSS) high bandwidth applications.

Axiomtek, an Associate Member of the Intel Communications Alliance (ICA), a community of communications and embedded developers and solution providers, is proud to launch the Mini-ITX board, SBC86808 This board comes with a mainstream LGA775 package for Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors with a 533/800MHz front side bus (FSB) and integrated Intel 915GV+ICH*6 Express chipset and built-in PCI-Express expansion interface

The SBC86808 offers good logistic, cost-effective and high performance advantages.

This Mini ITX SBC supports PCI-Express X1 expansion interface for high performance I/O add-on features.

It enables high bandwidth applications such as DSS (Digital Security Surveillance) and so on.

The built-in Intel 915GV Express chipset supports Hyper-Threading Technology and integrates a VGA function.

System memory can support up to 2GB of mainstream DDR II DIMM sockets.

The SBC86808 can operate in industrial environments from 0deg C (-32deg F) to 60C (140degF).

Its standard form factor and rich I/O features make it an incredible engine for enclosures, and the standard form factor takes advantages of system implementation and makes it a ready solution for embedded applications.

The SBC86808 is part of Axiomtek's comprehensive Mini-ITX board solution that enables fast deployment of next-generation platforms to maximize competitive advantage while minimizing development risks.

"The board lowers the total cost of ownership by dramatically reducing customer's system implementation costs and improving time-to-market by standard I/O outlets" said Joseph Chou, product manager, Embedded Computing Division, Axiomtek.

The board supports LVDS LCD display with 18/36-bit or 24/48-bit type channel mode both.

With regard to rich I/O connectors, the SBC86808 supports AC'97 Codec Audio, Fast Ethernet, 4 COM ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, and Digital I/O.

The SBC86808 will be available at the middle of June.
